Officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 241 calls between Friday morning and Sunday night, took 19 people into custody and filed 51 reports.
The arrests included four people each for assault causing bodily injury/family violence and driving while license suspended/invalid, two people each for possession of a controlled substance, outstanding warrants and racing and one person each for possession of marijuana, theft, public intoxication, driving while intoxicated and violation of a protective order.
Deputies with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 88 calls, took 20 people into custody and filed 24 reports.
The arrests included 11 people on outstanding warrants; two people each for driving while intoxicated, unlawful use of criminal instrument and fictitious license plate; and one person each for minor in consumption, public intoxication, and possession of a controlled substance.
— Kyle Drake Thompson, 20, West Tawakoni, had probation on a charge of tampering with/fabricating physical evidence revoked and was sentenced to four years in prison.
