GREENVILLE —
A local appearance by a country music legend making his farewell tour has officially sold out.
No more tickets were left to be sold as of Monday morning, for Friday’s concert by George Jones, presented by Greenville Municipal Auditorium and the United Way of Hunt County.
One of the best known and respected names in country music, “The Possum” has racked up scores of hits during his career and one year ago was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Grammys.
The concert, included as part of Jones’ “The Grand Tour”, is also set to also include a performance by Six Market Blvd.
