GREENVILLE —
The public will get a chance this week to offer its input on the proposed Hunt County budget and tax rate for the coming fiscal year.
Even though the budget calls for maintaining the current property tax rate, it still would amount to a small tax increase.
The first of two public hearings concerning the budget and tax rate is scheduled during a special session of the Hunt County Commissioners Court at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Auxiliary Courtroom, 2700 Johnson Street in Greenville.
