GREENVILLE —
It has been the topic of discussion among city leaders for months.
The City Council could finally vote this week to approve the establishment of an overlay zoning district for the Interstate 30 corridor through Greenville.
The Council is scheduled to consier the issue during Tuesday’s regular session, starting at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 2821 Washington Street.
In a memo to the Council, City Planner Lance Estep said the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously in May to approve recommending establishment of the district.
