GREENVILLE — The Texas Department of Public Safety has confirmed it is assisting the Rains County Sheriff's Office in a manhunt, currently underway in the area of State Highway 276 in far south Hunt County.
Earlier reports to the Herald-Banner indicated the manhunt may be connected to an earlier shooting near Point.
