GREENVILLE —
More than 650 voters in Hunt County have cast early ballots in advance of the May 12 municipal elections.
Anyone wanting to do the same will have a little extra time to do so today.
Early voting for the elections will be conducted between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays through next Tuesday at the Voter Administration Office, 2217 Washington Street in downtown Greenville. Extended early voting hours, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., are scheduled today.
Hunt County Elections Administrator Mina Cook said 208 people voted in person Wednesday, with one mail-in ballot received. A total of 657 people had voted through the first three days of early voting.
