I am thankful to David’s Foreign Service. I am pleased to have a local dependable company such as this who can be counted on to be fair and honest. I have had very good experiences the times I’ve taken my car to them for repair or routine maintenance. This husband/wife team always strive to get to me quickly, offering excellent work at very reasonable prices.

Vote for new Y
I write to support the YMCA bond election from a perspective of the role they provide in the health of our community. As a health care professional, I have long understood and supported the need and development of a comprehensive Health and Wellness Center which could serve not only as a fitness center and playground, but as a cornerstone for building and maintaining healthy bodies and lifestyles.

We would like to say we are in full agreement and support Randy Daw’s article in last Friday’s paper concerning the issue of homosexuality.

In support of new Y
A number of Greenville citizens have asked if we can afford a new YMCA. After many years of being a part of the Y, I think the question is, can we afford not to build a new YMCA?

It has come to my attention that Tyson Cox has declined a candidate’s forum with Dan Perkins sponsored by GEUS. The forum was to be broadcast on their network.

I was born and raised in Greenville and have lived here most of my life, except for the two years my husband, Perry M. Smith, was in dental school and the two years he practiced dentistry in West Texas.
