Photography contest winner Week 1 — Junior
Cory A. Taylor is the preliminary finalist in the Junior division for the first week in the W. Walworth Library / Herald-Banner amateur photography contest with his composition entitled “Desperation.” He took this photo of his brother as he was “getting desperate as the Blue Bell ran low.” Entries in both the Adult (18 and older) and Junior (under 18) categories will be accepted at the Herald-Banner office until Aug. 21. On Sept. 1 the top eight finalists in each category will be put on display at W. Walworth Library for voting by the public on a final winner. Winners will be announced on Sept. 21 and the photos will remain on display until Sept. 30.
