Those individuals in the community who know Hunter Dickens know he is an upbeat teen with a lot on his plate, but thanks to Chili’s the portion sizes on the plate have become less daunting.
Hunter Dickens, 17-year old junior at Rains High School, was diagnosed in April with Burkitt Lymphoma.
“This type of cancer is fast growing, but also responds to chemotherapy treatment faster than other types of cancer,” said Luanne Dickens, Hunter’s grandmother. “After some tests, they began chemotherapy that Friday, with him staying in the hospital for the next two weeks.”
