GREENVILLE —
Wally Jeffers, executive director of Hunt County Shared Ministries (FISH) is extremely proud of all the non-profit has been able to accomplish this year, even with budget cuts.
One new addition to the services provide by FISH this year was the creation of a community garden, which enabled the organization to offer fresh produce to its clients.
“The summer was really great because we had tons of cucumber, watermelon, squash, tomatoes and okra,” said Jeffers. “We got a lot out of it, even for as dry as it was. I was surprised.”
