Breaking: Suspect sought in early morning shooting

GREENVILLE — The Greenville Police Department is seeking a suspect in connection with a reported early morning shooting in the city.

Officers responded shortly after 1 a.m. today to a call of a man with a gun in the 4000 block of Pepperport Drive. One person had been shot and had been transported to the Hunt Regional Medical Center by private vehicle.

No additional details are being released at the present time, other than a suspect has been identified and was still being sought as of MOnday evening. Story in Tuesday's Herald-Banner.
