Winfred Richardson
Winfred E. “Rich” Richardson, 65, of Greenville, formerly of Lone Oak, died the afternoon of Nov. 2, 2009, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. A memorial service is scheduled at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lone Oak Baptist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Cook will officiate.
Born Dec. 17, 1943, in Pittsburg, Texas, he was son of Enos Vedebbs and Ruby Jewel Grubbs Richardson. He married Dolores Patterson on May 4, 1978, in Kaufman. Mr. Richardson served in the Army 101st Airborne and served in Vietnam. He was a planner in the aerospace industry. Mr. Richardson was a Christian.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; two sons, Brandon Hooten of Greenville and David Richardson of Kentucky; two daughters, Elisa Smith and husband Jason of Campbell and Cindy Carbajal and husband Gilbert of Carrollton; sister Mickey Landers and husband Lee of Leesburg; and was the proud PaPaw of 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
His parents, son Winfred E. “Bud” Richardson and brother Weldon Wesley Richardson preceded him in death.
